Juz got home from bio prat exam..
Hmm... How was it?

There are 3 experiments to be done.

The First Experiment.
The question is about kidney. It is easy as it requires me to draw the plan drawing of the different regions of the kidney. But what makes it difficult was to calculate the diameter of the tubule taht i drew in part (iii).
The question is:
"The nuclei of the tubule is estimate to be 10 mm. Find the diameter of the tubule. Show and explain y9ur workings."
Argh!!! I completely forgot how to convert cm into mm. if 1cm=10mm, 1 mm =100mm. Then 1cm= 1000mm, right?
So my working should be:
My actual drawing if tubule = 11.2cm
Diameter of actual nuclei= 10mm
Diameter of drawn nuclei= 7cm=7000mm
Magnification: 7000/10=700
Diameter of tubule: 11200/700= 16mm.
Is that right? i feel something is wrong though....

Then the Second experiment.
It is about reduced DCPIP. I am require to chop the leaf so that i can get the extract. Then i should add DCPIP. Then using capillary tubes, suck out some of it and put the 5 different tubes under different conditions to find out which one reduced the fastest.
Then after that, we have to plan out a new experiment to test the effect of temperature based on oxygen-producing organ in the leaf.
I did all the experiment but i did not manage to finish the planning. Haizz... That question cost 9 marks!!!

The Last Experiment
It is about rice grains. I have to measure out the length of 30 measly grains which takes a lot of my time. Then i have to calulate the expected results.
I TOTALLY forgot to study that chapter!
I was totally taken aback by the question but i just try it out based on my memory and what i used to do LAST YEAR. Furthermor, i have short term memory. But then, i just have to make do with it.

Conclusion:
I did pretty ok. But Practical had been my weakest part of the science subject. I just dont know what to say. For now, i just forget about it and concentrate on my other papers.
Coming right next is my Chemistry Practical. Another of my weak point...
